Accessibility Statement

GSO Guide is committed to making its content usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. Accessibility is treated as part of the build, not an add-on.

Conformance target

This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the recognised technical standard behind the U.S. ADA, the European Accessibility Act (EN 301 549), and Israeli Standard IS 5568. Accessibility is built into the site’s own markup rather than delegated to a third-party overlay widget.

What we provide

  • Built-in accessibility controls. The accessibility button (bottom-right of every page) lets you adjust text size, increase spacing, switch to a high-contrast display, highlight links, pause motion, and toggle a dark theme. Your choices are remembered on your device.
  • Full keyboard operability. Every interactive element — navigation, chapter menu, FAQs, and the accessibility panel — works without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator and a “skip to content” link.
  • Semantic structure. Landmarks, ordered headings, and ARIA states so assistive technologies can navigate and announce the page correctly.
  • Readable by default. Colour combinations are checked to meet AA contrast, links in content are underlined (not signalled by colour alone), and layout reflows down to small screens and up to 200% zoom.
  • Reduced motion. Animations respect your operating-system “reduce motion” setting, and can also be paused from the accessibility panel.

Known limitations

We are actively developing this site. Site search is not yet available, and some newer chapters are still being published. If you rely on assistive technology and hit a barrier, we want to know.

Report a problem

If you encounter anything that isn’t accessible, please email [email protected] with the page address and a short description of the issue. We aim to respond within a few business days and to fix confirmed barriers as quickly as we reasonably can.
